  • Animal Abuse vs. Human Abuse

Domestic animals can really be setup to look so sad. If you saw a pic of our dog you would see a very sad little dog with one eye looking like it might be blind. We really think he may have really bad sight in that eye, but it does look sad. He's been a great dog and has always been taken care of. Animal abuse? NOT! !

Okay, so why did I say that? The reason is because of this one stupid commercial that keeps airing on tv showing pics of dogs and cats that really look pittiful. Yes, I do believe there is probably some animal abuse out there, but don't we have other issues more important? How about human abuse. There are a lot of spouse abuse and child abuse that to me are much more important in my opinion. Shouldn't we be supporting the human frailty of life and well being more than the well being of animals (even though I am not against this).

Let me go a little deeper . . . you can take a baby's life by sucking out the brains or stopping a pregnancy just because someone has made a "mistake" and is in the family way, but you show more concern over an animal? Of course, you cannot show those pics on a commercial because of the graphic violence.

I am not a promoter of animal abuse, but I am certainly not a promoter of Human abuse either. Am I pro-life? Yes, in both cases. I do believe in special medical circumstances for some cases, but very limited with this. And I will keep these to myself because I will not debate this.

When we use the legislative branch of government to pass laws making immorality okay it does not change the facts of right and wrong. It only confirms the fact that our judges and government officials are as immoral as the actual laws they pass. Hmm, think about this for a while.

  • You have Pushed Me Too Far

"In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed...No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people. "

The above quote is from the preface of the Noah Webster's Dictionary of 1828. I really don't know how I want to put this because some of you will not like it at all, but I am really getting tired of things. So much has changed over the last . . . let's say 30 years just for a point of reference . . . that now I am changing. I have lived most of my years and to some (and it happened hear on Xanga) they wish people like me would just die and get my generation over.  Do you mind if I call this "hate" before I even get started. Let's face it, it is not wrong to hate. . . . It is wrong to carry it out with violence of any kind. So you can hate me all you want, but I do have a right to my faith and beliefs just as much as you do. So we can agree to hate each other as much as we want as long as we are not violent. Oh, and words can be used too because we have the freedom of speech and press (at least as far as I understand the Constitution). So, I can call you an idiot and you can call me a bigot or whatever you want, and we can continue the words until we use all the meanest, dirtiest, hateful words we can think of or make up. "A little chuckle for me here".

Drama, I use to hate it. But, I believe that it is now time for "all" to put up or shut up and I for one am going to hang my faith (constitutionally protected) out there to blow in the wind of your own ignorance and stupidity.  And to be honest, I really don't care what you believe, I care about what I believe and will live life to the fullest with or without anyone to follow in agreement

Tolerance, HA HA. Such a vague description in definition:"The power or capacity of enduring; or the act of enduring". I can tolerate the cold up to a certain point, but then it becomes unbearable and you probably could get me to do anything to find some warmth. So, I can tolerate you also up to a certain point and then you become unbearable to me. Then you label me as a "hate" person. Or more professional in your comments would be "bigot".

Respect, I'm not lobbying for yours. So, don't expect me to respect you. I will treat you with respect but I do not have to respect your stupidity. I'm sorry, let me rephrase this. I do not have to respect your lifestyle /or/ your tolerance of others lifestyles.

Now, go ahead and say I have gone off the deep end or that I need to just die and end the world of such "hate" and "bigotry". If you really knew me, you would know that I treat people with respect and help all I can with needs and whatever else I can do for them. I give of myself for the better of society.

Now that I have stirred the pot of the human race, let's see what comes of it.
